My name is Lee Baladejo (they/he), I'm an actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, director, and visual artist from Los Angeles CA. I have always had a deep passion for creating and performing, I started dancing when I was two and haven't left the stage since. I strive to create and be a part of new work (don't get me wrong though, I LOVE Shakespeare) in both theater and film that responsibly challenges the audience's perspectives/implicit biases, or is funny. Preferably both.
As a Non-binary actor I am interested in playing both male and female roles and intend on doing the work to help change the artistic landscape for trans nonbinary POC. My mission as an artist is to change how the industry thinks about gender and open up a world for non-binary people to fully be themselves.
I am beyond grateful to be able to be an artist. Watching art that represented me changed my life and made me realize I am not so alone in my journey. I hope to bring that experience to people through continuing to bring representation to the Asian, Latino, and queer communities I'm apart of. Through my art, I hope to bring more joy, community, compassion, laughter, critical thinking, and levity into the world.
